For the convenience of Eritrea applicants to apply for a Chinese visa, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the State of Eritrea will use Online Application Form-filling and Internet-based Appointment System from1st July 2018. Please fill the application form and schedule your appointment date in the above-mentioned system before you apply Chinese Visa. Check the following details:

1. Prepare documents: Read "Visa Application Requirements of the People's Republic of China"(http://er.chineseembassy.org/eng/ywzn/hzqz/t1072380.htm),and prepare all the materials accordingly.

2. Online Application form-filling: Login "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling System"(http://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn), please follow the guidance on this website, here are the steps: fill the form, upload applicant's photo, and print out the "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling Confirmation form".

Internet-based Appointment: Login "Internet-based Appointment System "(http://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn), please follow the guidance on this website, here are the steps: fill the form, choose an appointment date. 

3. Consular Section: Applicants should come to the Consular Office within the appointed date and time. Applicant should appear in person (applicants under the age of 16 should be accompanied with his or her parents or legal guardian) with "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling Confirmation Form", passport and other visa requirement materials. Then, applicant should sign his/her name on the "Confirmation Form".

4. Payment and Pick Up: After the acceptance of your visa application, our staff will give you a "Pickup form". It is required that the applicant (or consigner) pick up your visa on the date written on your "Pickup form". Please bring the "Pickup form" and pay visa fees while you come to the Consular Office.

5. Special reminder: Please note that Consulate Section will not provide urgent service for online visa application.
