On November 27th, Ambassador Li Xiang attended and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of overseas training program on information technology for Eritrea. Ambassador Negasi Sengal, DG of Eritrean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tedros, Director of the Human Resources Coordination Center, and Counselor Lai Chunsheng responsible for economic and commercial affairs at the Chinese Embassy also attended.

In his speech, Ambassador Li Xiang emphasized the deep traditional friendship between China and Eritrea, with close cooperation in human resources. China is willing to share technological expertise experience, taking the opportunity to implement the "Ten Cooperation Actions" between China and Africa. The aim is to jointly build a community of shared future in cyberspace and promote their respective modernization processes.

Ambassador Negassi summarized the achievements of China-Eritrea human resources training cooperation this year, expressing gratitude to the Embassy and the organizing units. Director Tedros believed that this training would be a starting point for broader cooperation between China and Eritrea, and encouraged the participating officials to enhance their technical skills through the training.
