To celebrate International Women's Day, the Chinese Embassy in Eritrea and the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) jointly hosted a women’s dialogue on March 9, focusing on the theme "The Role of Chinese and Eritrean Women in Their Respective National Development."

Female diplomats from the Embassy shared insights on Chinese womens' contributions to China’s poverty alleviation, social development, and educational equality, offering a comprehensive picture of how Chinese women have played a significant role in the process of Chinese modernization.

Eritrean female representatives introduced the vital contributions of Eritrean women in Eritrea's independence struggle and national development.
