On August 1, Ambassador Li Xiang of China to Eritrea met with the Minister of Tourism of Eritrea, Ms. Askalu Menkerios.

Ambassador Li said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has made an overall plan for further deepening reform comprehensively with a view to advancing Chinese modernization. This will bring new opportunities to African countries, including Eritrea. China is willing to share its development experiences in relevant fields with Eritrea, assist in the development of the tourism industry, and further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Minister Askalu warmly congratulated the successful convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. She highly praised China's achievements in reform and development and expressed Eritrea's eagerness to learn from China's governance and statecraft experience, as well as a willingness to strengthen cooperation in relevant fields.
