On August 8, Ambassador Li Xiang of China to Eritrea met with the Minister of Health of Eritrea, Ms. Amina Nurhussien.

Ambassador Li said that the recently concluded Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has adopted the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chinese Modernization. The Resolution focus on building a high-standard socialist market economy and pursuing high-standard opening up, which will bring new opportunities to African countries, including Eritrea. China is willing to share its development experiences in relevant fields with Eritrea, implement practical cooperation in health sector, and further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Minister Amina warmly congratulated the successful convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. She highly commend the work of Chinese medical team and thank for the contributions made by China to the development of the health sector in Eritrea. She also express the hope to strengthen cooperation with China in related fields and looks forward to learning from China’s advanced experiences.
