On November 28th, Chinese institutions in Eritrea held a “Strive Together for the Shared Bright Future”reception, Ambassador Li Xiang attended and delivered a speech. Mr. Hagos Gebrehiwet, Head of Economic Affairs of the PFDJ, Mr. Abraha Asfaha, Minister of Public Works, Ms. Amina Nurhussein, Minister of Health，Mr. Alem Kibreab, Acting Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr. Lai Chunsheng, Counselor in charge of economic and commercial affairs of the Embassy, as well as more than 60 representatives from Eritrean government, organizations, media, and Chinese institutions attended the event.

Ambassador Li Xiang said that the two heads of state reached a series of consensus during the Beijing Summit of FOCAC, and injected strong momentum into deepening the China-Eritrea strategic partnership. He also hope that Chinese institutions in Eritrea will continue to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities in the new year, grow alongside Eritrea’s economic and social development, and act as supporters and contributors to the development of China-Eritrea relations.
