On December 6, Ambassador Li Xiang visited the Eritrean National Table Tennis Federation(ENTTF). Mr.Ahmedin, the Chairman of the ENTTF, officials from the Eritrean Culture and Sports Commission and the Eritrean Olympic Committee, and members of the Eritrean national table tennis team had friendly communications with Ambassador Li Xiang.

Ambassador Li said that sports is an important bond to enhance friendship and promote exchanges. China and Eritrea have close cooperation in the field of sports. China is willing to continue to provide support for the development of Eritrea's table tennis and expand the connotation of sports exchanges and cooperation between China and Eritrea.

Mr.Ghirmay, Vice President of the Eritrean Olympic Committee, said that China and Eritrea have carried out a series of fruitful cooperation in the field of sports and culture. Table tennis has a broad mass base in Eritrea. Eritrea is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China to promote the development of Eritrea's table tennis.
