On the morning of December 30, Ambassador Li Xiang attended the 2024 Annual Consular Protection Conference and Erirean Legal Lecture and delivered a speech. Nearly 50 people, including legal experts from the Ministry of Justice of Eritrea, Mr. Nathnael and Mr.Yoel, and representatives of Chinese organizations in Eritrea attended the conference.

In his speech, Ambassador Li said that President Xi Jinping's announcement of the ten partnership actions that China takes with Africa to advance modernization provides new opportunities for China-Eritrea cooperation. As important participants in the mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Eritrea, the Chinese organizations should further understand and comply with the laws and regulations of Eritrea, which is the basis of the sustainable development. It is hoped that the Chinese organizations could play a positive role in the development of Eritrea and the deepening of China-Eritrea strategic cooperation.

Legal experts from the Ministry of Justice, introduced in detail the legal framework and laws and regulations of Eritrea in the fields of economy and trade, investment, anti-corruption and so on.
