On January 20, Ambassador Li Xiang attended the closing ceremony of the overseas training program in Eritrea and delivered a speech. The Acting Minister of Energy and Mines Mr. Alem was present.

In his speech, Ambassador Li congratulated the successful completion of the training. He noted that the year of 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the beginning of implementing the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit. China is willing to work with Eritrea to implement the "Ten Cooperation Actions" of FOCAC and jointly write a new chapter in China-Eritrea cooperation.

Mr. Alem expressed sincere gratitude to the Chinese government for providing training that enhanced the professional skills of the participants and deepened mutual understanding and communication between the two sides.
